Game Rules

  • The game has 7 tricks, and each player gets 7 cards.
  • You must play a card that is greater than or equal to the highest card in the trick. If you cannot, you must play your lowest card.
  • The player who plays the highest card wins the trick and leads the next one.
  • Core Rule: The player who wins the final trick gets cornichon penalties.
  • The game ends when someone gets more than 5 cornichons.

Scoring

Getting Cornichons: The player who wins the 7th trick receives cornichons as penalty. The number depends on the value of your winning card:

Card 1: 0 cornichons
Cards 2-5: 1 cornichon
Cards 6-9: 2 cornichons
Cards 10-11: 3 cornichons
Cards 12-14: 4 cornichons
Card 15: 5 cornichons

Double Penalty: If someone plays a card with value 1 in the 7th trick, the winner gets double cornichons.
